GayTravel's thoughts and prayers go out to all of our friends, families and travel partners that have been affected by the California wine country fires.
A note from our partners at Out In The Vineyard:
As the fires continue to burn they are bringing devastation across Sonoma and Napa Valley wineries, vineyards, hotels and restaurants.
Many in the community have lost their homes and livelihoods.
We very much appreciate your concern and inquiries. Please be aware that we are still in the midst of the emergency and our community is going to really need your help in the weeks and months to come. In the meantime, here are some ways you can help now:
Donate Funds:
Redwood Credit Union North Bay Fire Relief
Redwood Credit Union (RCU), in partnership with RCU Community Fund, The Press Democrat, and Senator Mike McGuire, is now accepting financial donations to aid relief efforts and assist victims of the 2017 North Bay fires. 100% of your donations will go directly to support those affected by the fires.
The Community Foundation of Sonoma County's Resilience Fund
Community Foundation Sonoma County has launched the Sonoma County Resilience Fund to address the mid to long-term needs of our community. While we cannot yet predict what the greatest needs will be, in other communities recovery efforts have included basic needs as well as longer term economic, health and social supports. Examples have included support for renters, case management services, animal welfare and capacity-building for nonprofits taking on new or expanded roles in disaster relief.

Buy Wine!
Really. By purchasing your favorite wines in both grocery stores and restaurants you are directly generating funds that will help our winemakers and vintners rebuild their businesses and continue to employ those who work in vineyards, tasting rooms, hotels and restaurants, to rebuild their lives in wine country, those who have wholeheartedly supported our LGBTQ community.
Love,
Mark & Gary
