Axel Hotel Barcelona opened its doors for the first time on the 3rd of July 2003. The new hotel, TWO Hotel Barcelona scheduled to open in May 8 2015, will be the fourth hotel of the group to join the expansion project started during 2012.
The new TWO Hotel Barcelona will remain faithful to the Axel concept and philosophy just as the rest of the hotels have, following in the steps of Axel Hotel Barcelona in urban design and a perfect strategic location in the center of Barcelona at the Eixample. The newly constructed building is located at Calabria 90-92 Street, near one of the most important streets Gran Vía de les Corts Catalanes and has three facades that combine classic elements of the typical architecture from the Eixample such as the vertical tribune of the main facade and the bright and spacious interior courtyard garden.
