Banff's First Boutique Motel
Located at the start of Banff Avenue, The Dorothy Motel offers LGBTQ travelers accommodations made simple—superior hotel rooms with either two queen-sized beds or a king-sized bed. All the rooms feature a microwave, coffee and tea, mini-refrigerator, safe, air conditioning, wifi, and parking. Guests can either check-in through their mobile app or go to the nearby Banff Caribou Lodge first to check-in. To explore the marvelous scenery of the town, bicycles can also be rented from Ultimate Sports if they haven't brought their own. Bike storage and a fix-it station are available on site.
The picturesque motel is surrounded by a forest and behind it is the magnificent Cascade Mountain. Inspired by Dorothy Carleton, Mary Schäffer, Mary Vaux, and Sharon Wood, the trailblazing women of the past, the property also recognizes women of today who push their limits and love the adventure in the mountains.
