Don’t be surprised if it is difficult to make it to this island though- its exclusivity makes it that much more appealing!

The beauty of St. Barth is that while this is a tropical destination, there is low humidity most of the year because of the windy breezes. Summer, which is the wet season, is from May until November. The dry season of winter is from December to April. The downside to its Caribbean location is that St. Barth is that it’s subject to catastrophic cyclonic storms.

St. Barth is a very exclusive location that takes some planning to get to- but once you are there it is so worth it! Direct plane flights from the mainland of the U.S. and Europe provide access to this chic island. While it is too rocky for cruise ships to dock, yachts are able to successfully make the trek. The most fun way to get around the island once you’re there, believe it or not, is by 4x4 Jeep! Be careful though- roads are often steep and windy. This island is small enough to get around within just a thirty-minute drive so enjoy every minute of your sightseeing experience. Because of its exclusivity and high-end demographic, St. Barth is not only the safest island in the Caribbean but also one of the safest places in the world.
