Hotel Genevieve’s name is inspired by a regional type of limestone, Saint Genevieve, a key ingredient in bourbon production. Limestone is prevalent throughout Texas, providing a throughline from Bunkhouse origins to this new chapter in Kentucky. Saint Genevieve is also the patron saint of Paris, celebrating the French origins of Louisville and the many women who worked to bring the hotel to life. 

Rooms & Suites

The hotel’s 122 rooms highlight the nuances that make Louisville a destination for all. From custom undulating furniture to luxe linens from Sferra linens and towels from Kassatex, each room is outfitted with all the comforts a proper Southern stay requires.

Double Queen - This room features two cozy queen beds and a relaxing seating area, all within 286 sq. ft.

King Louie - Live like a king in this room, offering a spacious king bed, a seating area with a banquette, and a table, all within approximately 252 sq. ft.

Petite King - This room offers a comfortable king-sized bed and a lounge chair, with ample views of Market Street, all within 235 sq. ft.

Suite Genevieve - Facing Market Street, this room is 582 square feet, featuring a king bed, along with a separate living room in a warm yellow hue.

Grand King - This room faces Market Street and features an ample 408 square feet, a king bed, a separate seating area, and a soothing blue palette.

Eat & Drink

Each of the hotel's food and beverage outlets features unique, immersive takes on Southern classics. Their culinary program is overseen by Chef Ashleigh Shanti, whose sensibilities are rooted in African-American foodways and a passion for storytelling.

Rosettes is a prized all-day destination for guests and locals to celebrate big occasions or just another day in Louisville. Their menu is driven by simple, rustic ingredients and inspired by the sounds and aromas of al fresco Parisian cafés.

Tucked into a hidden location within the hotel, Lucky Penny is open for cocktails and bar snacks late into the night, for those fortunate enough to find it.

Mini Marché, the mini market at the hotel, offers local Kentucky provisions and new finds along with coffee and grab-and-go selections for breakfast and lunch including breakfast sandwiches, banana bread, and fresh produce.

The hotel's rooftop lounge, Bar Genevieve offers cocktails and light fare set against sweeping views of the city. The menu is inspired by French street food and its many Mediterranean influences.

The crown jewel of their event spaces, their rooftop can provide the perfect backdrop for your big event—with a fireplace across a total of 3,550 square feet, and a private dining room for up to 24 guests.
