The Northeast

Boston, Massachusets

From pup-friendly patios to spoiling your pup with a trip to a dog-centered bakery like the Polkadog Bakery, get ready to dig into Boston!

Boston Harbor Hotel at Rowes Wharf welcomes two pets up to 80 lbs for an additional fee of $100 per pet, per stay. Both dogs and cats are allowed, but pets may not be left unattended in rooms, and cats require a litter box. There are small grassy areas across the street from the hotel, and Boston Commons is about a 20-minute walk from the property.

XV Beacon welcomes dogs of any size for an additional fee of $50 per stay. However, 50% of the pet fee is donated to a local animal organization. Four-legged guests receive homemade biscuits, pet beds, and water bowls at check-in. While dogs may not be left in the room unattended, dog walkers and pet sitters may be arranged in advance for an additional fee. Guests can also walk their dogs across the street at Boston Common.

Burlington, Vermont

Made INN Vermont welcomes two dogs of any size for an additional fee of $25 per pet, per night. Four-legged guests get to stay in the room unattended, and while there is no designated pet relief area on the property, dogs may be walked throughout the neighborhood. With treats, bowls, waste bags, blankets, and toys available, this boutique B&B is totally paw-some.

New York, New York

Pets of any size are welcome at Kimpton Vero Beach Hotel & Spa for no additional fee. The hotel even has a Director of Pet Relations on staff who oversees the hotel's pet perks program. As of writing, the current director is in charge of developing amenities, promotions, and packages for four-legged travelers and hand-selecting his favorite treats to surprise furry friends upon their arrival. He also co-hosts the hotel's complimentary wine hour every evening in the lobby from 5:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m.

Head inland towards central Florida and you'll arrive in the most magical place in the world, Orlando!

For stays up to 6 nights, Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress welcomes one dog up to 50 lbs or two dogs with a combined weight of up to 75 lbs for an additional fee of $150 and $300 for stays longer than that.

The West Coast

In southwestern Florida, Wagging Tails Dog Park in Cape Coral is a fun place to take your dog, with two separate fenced areas for big and small dogs. The park is only open for registered dogs, so make sure your pet is registered and free to play.

Welcoming two dogs up to 50 lbs for no additional fee with open paws, The Westin Cape Coral Resort at Marina Village holds the corg-key to our hearts. Complimentary use of dog beds as well as food and water bowls are granted to guests, and there is even a pet relief area with waste receptacles on the property.

The Keys

For stays up to 6 nights, Hyatt Centric Key West Resort & Spa welcomes two dogs up to 50 lbs for an additional fee of $150, while for stays of 7 nights or more, the fee is bumped up to $300. Though dogs may not be left in rooms unattended, treats, beds, and bowls are available, and there is grass for dog relief on the property.

Minutes away from the scenic beaches of Malibu, Hyatt Regency Westlake has rembarkable service and places you only an hour northwest of Los Angeles. In order to ensure a spot for your pet, a reservation must be made at least 3 days in advance of arrival, and the hotel only permits dogs weighing 50 pounds or under. That said, guests are welcome to have two dogs stay in their guest room, provided that the combined weight does not exceed 75 pounds.

The only full-service luxury golf and conference resort in Los Angeles County, Pacific Palms Resort is a hilltop haven set across the San Gabriel Valley Mountains. Welcoming two pets of any size for an additional fee of $40 per pet, per night, this gorgeous golf resort has a walking trail around the resort and designated pet relief areas with waste stations.

West Hollywood

Speaking of star power, the legendary Lady Gaga was awarded a key to the groovy gayborhood of West Hollywood back in 2021. Icing on the cake as the Mayor went on to declare May 23rd “Born This Way Day” to celebrate the star's sophomore album turning 10 years old.

Home to 1,000 dogs per square mile, wag-worthy WeHo is such a dog-friendly city that they designed a law so that pets are to be called “companions” and their owners “guardians”.

A wealth of wag-worthy events are held throughout the year, covering community-led annual animal walks and plenty of pet appreciation days scattered across the seasons. In the past, the city of West Hollywood has put on events that featured pet psychics and other doggie activities worth drooling over.
