Situated in the center of western Canada, the province of Alberta is surrounded by the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Banff and Jasper, world-famous resorts in our own Canadian Rockies, offer sumptuous lodgings and fine dining. Spend some time trip south and east up into the Canadian Badlands and millions of years to the period of the dinosaurs. Or venture north into a land of untouched lakes, back country lodges, and fishing. Edmonton, the capital city in Alberta, is home to tons of festivals and parties which makes for an incredible dose of Canada culture no matter what itme of year. Banff and Jasper are two excellent destinations with access to Glacier National Park. The Rockies are a completely wonderful place to get a fix of nature, with tons of outdoor activities to partake in all year round. 

Safety in the region is centered around critters and animals because of the proximity to nature, as well weather concerns including heat in the summer and snowy conditions in the winter. Be sure to always check forecasts before hitting the streets- and be sure to plan some backup options incase your plans fall through!
