As of November 2020, the number of global airline passengers dropped to 1.8 billion people. A 60 percent drop in global air passenger traffic.

The pandemic has reduced traffic in all aspects, let it be retail, business, or travel. In November 2020, the number of airline passengers dropped to 1.8 billion people. That's a 60% drop in global passenger traffic. In the United States, the average number of passengers flying per day is 1.73 million. That’s a lot of people flying. However, not enough to break the world record of the number of passengers carried on one plane at once. On May 24, 1991, “Operation Soloman'' was carried out when a commercial El Al Boeing 747 carrying 1,088 passengers were flown at once in an evacuation of the Ethiopian Jews.
